Social Media Editor

The Social Media Editor works with the Editor-in-Chief, the Senior Editor, and the Associate Editor to market and distribute the journal.

The Social Media editor responsibilities include: a) coordinates with the Secretary of the HESIG to ensure that calls for articles and other Journal communications are included in various social media platforms; b) send out information on JCIHE publications on a monthly basis to various social media platforms including Linked-in and Twitter. c) highlight an article each month to facilitate visibility of the journal; d) cultivate new relationships that support a wider distribution of the journal; e) may also serve as a peer reviewer.

The Social Media Editor is appointed by the Editor-in-Chief and the Co-Chairs of the HESIG for a three-year term and can be re-appointed for another three-year term, serving a maximum of six-years. The Social Media Editor must be a member in good standing of the HESIG. Ideally the Social Media Editor has experience with communicating and social media marketing, listservs, website development and email marketing campaigns. The Social Media Editor should be in a graduate degree program or a graduate related to comparative and international higher education.
