New Senior Editor for the Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education (JCIHE)
We are pleased to announce we have a new Senior Editor for the Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education (JCIHE). Bernhard Streitwieser has agreed to work alongside Rosalind Raby, our Editor-in-Chief, as Senior Editor.
Bernhard Streitwieser is an Assistant Professor of International Education at the George Washington University. He has extensive experience as a university lecturer and professor, book editor, journal editor, proposal reviewer, panel moderator, paper discussant, and presenter. As a graduate student at Columbia University-Teachers College he helped found the journal, Contemporary Issues in Comparative Education. From 2004-2008 he was co-editor of the journal, European Education: Issues and Studies and in 2012 he was guest editor of the journal, Research in Comparative and International Education (2012, vol. 7(1)). He received an award from the HESIG in 2016 for one of his edited books, Internationalisation of Higher Education and Global Mobility, for the Oxford Studies in Comparative Education series.
JCIHE is fortunate to have Bernhard as its Senior Editor, given his extensive experience publishing with Routledge, Sense, Springer, Palsgrave-Macmillan, Teachers College Press, Symposium, IGI, Schneider Verlag, Lap Lambert, and Akademiker Verlag, and in the journals, Higher Education, Research in International and Comparative Education, European Education: Issues and Studies, International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, Journal of the Knowledge Economy, Change: The Magazine of Higher Learning, Educational Research & Evaluation, American Journal of Evaluation, Journal of Innovative Higher Education, International Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, University World News, and The Conversation.)
